A friend of mine needed to downgrade his BT Home Hub 3.0 Type A. He had looked all over for instructions and the RMS firmware file. It seems that the RMS file is elusive and rather hard to track down. After a while we managed to find the following website:
http://karooforums.net/index.php?topic=2363.0
Which had info on downgrading. If you are looking for the file: HUB3A_4.7.5.1.83.8.57_prod.rms, you can download it from
here.
Happy downgrading!
Hey there, thanks for posting that file but is there any chance that you might have the other files listed in that forum topic as they no longer exist at the links provided.

I'm stuck on flashing the USB stick as once i've done it and try and find the files on my router or on my computer it says the stick is corrupted or the file format is not recognized. I have tried this part with diskimage and ext3.img flashing for ages and the program says its worked but my pc and HH3A just dont see the files. Any suggestions welcome ....
